Hojiblanca, Ancora y Bogaris submit a joint bid for SOS.

A group of Andalusian investors, comprising Hojiblanca, Bogaris and Áncora, the third owned by the Cordoban families De Prado, Martínez-Sagrera, Caro and Chambra, has submitted a takeover bid for SOS. Bogaris has olive orchards in Chile and Portugal, where it built one of the world’s largest olive oil mills. Áncora, in turn, owns 7 289 hectares of olive orchards, most of which in Portugal. These three companies, which are competing with Nueva Rumasa for the multinational agri-food company, are considering the possibility of purchasing a share package.
