Regional Government awards 500 MW
Bogaris awarded wind farm project.
The Regional Government of Andalusia has awarded 13 companies licences to develop 500 MW of wind power in a total of 32 farms. The construction and subsequent maintenance of the stations will create 3 200 jobs before year-end 2010. The overall investment amounts to 600 million euros, plus another 190 million for the parallel launch of industrial plans and R&D projects. Endesa, Proasego and Iberdrola are the main beneficiaries. Bogaris (21 MW) is among the other awardees.
